What's up Barcelona

May Fifteen, 2012 -

Today we left London at 8:00 am for a rail ride to Gatwick Airport.  We had a flight on Easy Jet into Barcelona Airport.  When we left London it was about 42 degrees Fahrenheit and raining, when we landed in Barcelona it was about 70 degrees and sunny.  This was a very nice change to some of the poorer weather we encountered while in London.  Once we arrived in Barcelona we dropped our stuff off at the hotel Quatro Naciones, which is on La Rambla St., and walked strait to the Port of Vell.  There were street people everywhere and many tourists, but the cerveza Estrella is a very good lager.  It is made here in Barcelona and they sell them for 2 Euros on the street and 75 cents inside the mercats.  We ended up hanging out on the beach for about 30 or 45 minutes and then headed back to the hotel to get ready for dinner.  We went looking for Quimet & Quimet, but when we got there around 10:30 they had closed down and stopped serving.  I asked the lady there and told us about another good place just a short walk back down the road.  We found it luckily and finally made it to the restaurant called Jada.  This was good local food and was not too expensive.
